How Utah Website Pros collects, uses, and protects your information.

Last updated: August 2026

Utah Website Pros (“Utah Website Pros,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a brand of Managed IT Solutions, Inc., respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you provide — name, email, phone number, business name — when you submit a form, request a quote, or contact us.
  • Communication records from emails, text messages, and form submissions.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device, and operating system.
  • Usage data — how you interact with our website.
  • Project information related to services we provide.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide quotes.
  • To deliver, maintain, and improve our services.
  • To communicate with you about projects, appointments, updates, and support — by email and, with your consent, by text message.
  • To analyze and improve our website.
  • For legal compliance and to prevent fraud or abuse.

SMS/text messaging

When you provide your phone number and opt in on our forms, you agree to receive text messages from Utah Website Pros related to your inquiry and service (such as replies, appointment reminders, and follow-ups). Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. SMS consent is used solely to communicate with you about your inquiry and service.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who help us operate (such as hosting, messaging, and analytics providers), under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal authorities when required by law.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We never share SMS opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing.

Google user data

We operate an application, Resolve, that we use to manage the websites in our care and that our clients sign in to in order to view their projects, submit support tickets, and review their form submissions.

Signing in. Clients and staff may sign in to Resolve using their Google account. In that flow we receive only basic profile information, limited to name and email address, which we use to create and identify the account. We request no other Google data for sign-in.

Access to client Google properties. Separately, some of our work requires reading data from a client’s own Google account. Only Utah Website Pros staff accounts request this access, and only after the client has explicitly granted it by adding us as a user on their Google Search Console property, or as a manager on their Google Business Profile. Clients are never asked to grant these scopes in order to use Resolve.

What we access. We request two Google OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly: read-only Google Search Console data (impressions, clicks, queries, and indexing status) for the websites we manage.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage: Google Business Profile reviews and business information for profiles where we have been added as a manager, including publishing replies to reviews at the client’s direction.

We access only the specific properties and profiles a client has granted us access to, and no other data in the connected Google account.

How we use it. Solely to deliver the services that client has engaged us for, including reporting on search performance, surfacing and responding to reviews, and maintaining their website. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

How we store it. Google user data is stored in our access-controlled database, hosted by a third-party cloud provider that encrypts data in transit and at rest at the storage layer. Access is limited to the Utah Website Pros staff who need it to perform the work described above. Access tokens are used only to make the API requests described above, and are never shared with clients or third parties.

How we share it. We do not sell Google user data or transfer it to third parties, except to service providers who host our infrastructure under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.

How long we keep it. For the duration of the service relationship. Clients may revoke our access at any time by removing our account from their Search Console property or Business Profile, or from the Google Account permissions page. We delete the associated data within 30 days of access being revoked or the service relationship ending.

Limited Use. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
